What to Expect:
Sessions are generally one hour in length. I use gentle techniques and tiny needles to ensure a pain-free experience. Beyond needling, I lean on all of the modalities within my scope as Registered Acupuncturist to create a treatment that is most supportive to you. Acupressure (needle-free techniques), moxibustion (herbal heat therapy), cupping or gua sha can all be incorporated depending on your unique needs and goals.
If you are nervous about needles, let me know, we can chat about strategies and treatment options that will help put you at ease!
My Approach:
My approach is rooted in my studies in Traditional East Asian Medicine, I also draw from my background in Psychology and social service work. My past experiences have shaped how I view health and wellness and instilled the belief that healing happens when we feel safe and connected.
Whether you are managing pain, navigating life stressors, changes and transitions, feeling stuck, burnt out, or overwhelmed, you don’t have to get through it alone.
Acupuncture works with our innate capacity for healing, bringing our mind and body back into balance. I offer a grounded approach and a supportive, nurturing environment for you to come back to yourself.
